Uvod
Venecijanski bijenale - 56. Međunarodna izložba vizualne umjetnosti (56. Esposizione Internazionale d’Arte) održat će se od 9.05. do 22.11.2015., pod ravnanjem kritičara, kustosa, pisca i izdavača Okwuija Enwezora.
Tema Bijenala je All the World’s Futures / Sve budućnosti svijeta.

Međunarodna izložba vizualne umjetnosti – La Biennale di Venezia – smatra se najznačajnijim mjestom izlaganja suvremene vizualne umjetnosti i predstavlja jedinstvenu priliku za stjecanje većeg ugleda i međunarodne vidljivosti hrvatskih umjetnika. Venecijansko Bijenale globalno je mjesto susreta umjetnika s međunarodnom publikom, kustosima i galeristima.
Kako bi Hrvatska dobila što kvalitetniju prezentaciju, Ministarstvo kulture ovim putem raspisuje javni poziv za isticanje kandidature za povjerenika hrvatskog nastupa.
Osnovni uvjeti kandidature
Kandidaturu za povjerenika mogu istaknuti hrvatski i strani državljani, uz priloženu biografiju.
Kandidati moraju imati iskustvo i stručnost u području suvremene umjetnosti, te iskustvo u upravljanju manifestacijama međunarodnog značaja.
Kandidati moraju imati dobro poznavanje engleskog jezika.
Kandidature mogu biti istaknute isključivo u vlastito ime.
Kandidatura treba sadržavati prijedlog koncepcije izložbe. Također, nužno je objasniti i povezanost prijedloga s ovogodišnjim tematskim okvirom Bijenala.
Detaljan tehnički opis izložbenog prostora bit će dostupan naknadno.
Potrebna dokumentacija za kandidiranje projekta
- Životopis
- Pismo motivacije - do 2 kartice teksta
- Opis prijedloga koji sadrži – do 10 kartica teksta + vizualna dokumentacija
a. Opis koncepta
b. Odnos predloženog koncepta i teme Bijenala
c. Suglasnost svih uključenih autora iz projekata / koncepata
d. Osnovni tehnički parametri (multimedija, instalacija, gradnja, transport)
e. Vizualna dokumentacija
f. Procjena produkcijskih troškova nastupa po sljedećim stavkama:
- autorski honorari
- troškovi povjerenika i suradnika (putni troškovi, smještaj, telefoni itd.)
- troškovi produkcije
- ekspertne usluge (informatika, multimedija)
- transport, montaža, demontaža
- tiskani materijali
- PR materijali
Kandidature se predaju u pisanom obliku, preporučenom poštom ili izravno u pisarnici Ministarstva kulture. Ukoliko se šalju preporučenom poštom, kandidati su o predanoj kandidaturi obvezni obavijestiti Ministarstvo kulture putem elektronske pošte na mail adresu (snjezana.pole@min-kulture.hr) ili faksom (01/48.66.586).
Kandidature s nepotpunom dokumentacijom kao i onom koja nije stigla do navedenog roka neće biti razmatrane.

Ocjenjivački sud i odluka
O kandidaturi za povjerenika hrvatskog nastupa na Venecijanskom Bijenalu 2015. odlučit će, vrednovanjem cjelovite prijavljene kandidature, Ocjenjivački sud u sastavu:

Iva Rada Janković, Muzej suvremene umjetnosti
Berislav Šipuš, predstavnik Ministarstva kulture

Donesena odluka bit će konačna i obvezujuća. Protokol postupka selekcije - pismena obrazloženja ocjena i kriterija izbora selektora hrvatskog nastupa bit će objavljeni uz rezultate javnog poziva. Nakon donesene odluke o izboru povjerenika, Ministarstvo kulture će provesti pregovarački postupak za sklapanje posebnog ugovora između povjerenika i organizatora izložbe.

Introduction
The Venetian Biennale – (56th Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte) will be held from 9 May until 22 November 2015 under the appointed curator, art critic, editor and publisher Okwui Enwezor.

The International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia – has always been regarded as the foremost showcase for contemporary visual arts in the world and represents a unique opportunity to raise the profile of Croatian artists and increase their international opportunities. The Venice Biennale serves as a global showcase for the artists and offers a prominent platform for the Croatian artists to engage with international audiences, curators and gallerists.
In order for Croatia to be represented as prestigiously as possible, the Ministry of the Culture hereby announces the public call for the appointment of the Commissioner of Croatian national participation at the Venice Biennale 2015.
Basic Application Conditions
The application for the Commissioner can be submitted by Croatian and foreign curators, along with an accompanying CV.
The candidates must have the experience and expertise in the field of contemporary art as well as experience in the management of events of international importance.
Fluent knowledge of English language is obligatory.
The applications can be submitted only personally by applicant.
The application should contain the proposed concept of the exhibition, as well as an explanation of the connection between the proposal and this year's thematic framework of the Biennale.
The detailed technical description of the exhibition space will be made available at a later date.

- Description of the proposal – up to 10 pages + visual documentation

c. Consent of all the authors participating in the projects/concepts

e. Visual documentation
f. Assessment of production costs of participation by the following items:
- Authors' fees
- Expenses of the Commissioner and assistants (travelling expenses,
accommodation, telephone expenses, etc.)
- Production costs
- Expert services ( computer, multimedia)
- Transport, exhibition setup and dismantling
- Printed materials
- PR materials
The application should be submitted in a written form and sent by registered mail or brought directly to the dispatch office in the Ministry of Culture. If the applications are sent by registered mail, the candidates are obliged to inform the Ministry of Culture about the application sent by e-mail at: snjezana.pole@min-kulture.hr) or by fax (++385.1.48.66.586)
The applications with incomplete documentation as well as those not received by the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

The applications for the Commissioner of Croatian national participation at the Venice Biennale 2015 will be decided upon, after the evaluation of the overall nominated applications, by the Appointment Decision Committee:

The decision brought will be final and binding. The protocol of the selection procedure – written deliberations on the evaluation and criteria of selection of the Croatian participation will be published along with the results of the Public Call. After the decision on the selection of the Commissioner is brought, the Ministry of Culture will initiate the negotiating procedure for the conclusion of a separate agreement between the Commissioner and the organizer of the Exhibition.
