Rendezvous at the Gardens / Rendez-vous aux jardins - 2024

“Five senses in a Garden” was the theme of Croatia’s sixth Rendez-vous aux Jardins event.

The Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia organized an educational programme in Čakovec in collaboration with the Conservation Department in Varaždin.

The programme “Five Senses in Zrinski Park in Čakovec” took place on Friday, 31 May 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in Zrinski Park in Čakovec.
With a focus on five senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste) which are activated during the visit to the park, the programme presented the park’s natural and cultural history to children of Cipelica Kindergarten from Čakovec, as well as to other interested residents.

This event is included in the official programme celebrating the Day of the City of Čakovec.

Since 2003, the French Ministry of Culture has organized the Rendez-vous aux Jardins event on the first weekend of June, when various private and public gardens, parks, and promenades are open to the public throughout France, and since 2018, as part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, it has been organized all across Europe.
